Display Spaces

Got a little space? Put it to work.

Do you have a corner in your café that's not being used? A small table going to waste? Room on your counter for a flyer stand, or a wall that could hold a few business cards?

List your spare display space and give local businesses another way to be seen.

Earn a little extra, offer the space for free, or simply support businesses in your local community. Local supporting local.

Small Spaces. Real Opportunities.

You may have more advertising space than you think.

You don't need a billboard or a huge empty wall. Some of the most useful local advertising spaces take up very little room.

Waiting-room tables, reception tables and cafe counters can all become useful display spaces.

Window Space

An unused section of your shopfront window could display a local poster or promotion.

Digital Screen

Have a TV or screen in your gym, salon, cafe or waiting room? You may be able to offer digital advertising space too.

Look around.
What space are you not using?

That empty corner beside the till. The blank section of your noticeboard. A waiting-room table with nothing on it. A TV screen showing the same content all day.

It may not look like advertising space yet. But to another local business, it could be exactly where they want to be seen.

Could your spare space earn something?

You decide whether to offer a space for free or charge for it. A venue might have several small advertising opportunities within the same business.

For Local Venues

If local people visit your business, you may have a space worth listing.

You don't need thousands of visitors every day. If people regularly visit your business, another local business may value the opportunity to reach them.

List Your Space

Take a photo of your counter, wall, noticeboard, table, window, brochure stand or screen. Tell advertisers where it is, what can fit and whether you'd like to offer it free or charge for it.

Accept the Booking

A local business requests your space for set dates and tells you exactly what they are sending — what it is, how many, and how it will reach you. You accept or decline. Nothing is charged and nothing arrives until you have said yes.

Get Paid After the Job

Once you accept, the advertiser pays up front and the money is held by the marketplace. You receive the material, display it for the agreed period, and your earnings are transferred to your bank account after the booking finishes. You never have to chase anyone for payment.

Free Display

Not every space has to make money.

You might be happy to display a flyer from a local school, sporting club, community group or neighbouring business for free. It's a simple way for local businesses and organisations to support one another.

Paid Display

Or put your space to work.

Premium counter positions, windows, brochure stands, noticeboards and digital screens may have value to businesses wanting to reach your customers. Set a price that makes sense for your venue and the space you are offering.

Your space. Your decision.

Spacehopper is about giving local businesses more ways to reach people who are already living, shopping, eating, exercising and spending time in their community.

You provide the space. Another local business gets the opportunity to be seen.
